Our speaker, John Giles is a Divisional Director of Promar international, the agri food value chain consulting arm of Genus plc.

He will cover what his role at Promar involves and how his involvement as President of CIM’s Food, Drink & Agricultural Group (FDA) relates to this. John will then discuss how the rest of the world views the UK agricultural and food sector. A question and answer session will take place at the end of the event.

John has worked in some 60 countries around the world on a wide range of agri food and drink projects. These projects have covered a vast area including right across the UK and EU 28, the US, Canada, China, India, Russia, South Africa, Chile, Turkey, Myanmar, East & West Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
