6:00 PM - Leeds

As the deadline for the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fast approaches, we welcome Professor Matthew J. Robson, Head of the Marketing Division at the Business School, and Dr Subhajit Basu, Associate Professor in Cyber Law at the School of Law, at University of Leeds to discuss the challenges, and opportunities for marketers. Further information about our speakers can be found in the speaker biographies attachment.

The update to the Data Protection rules will fundamentally change the way we are allowed to market to customers, how a business can collect and hold data and how you communicate both internally and externally. This event will address those changes and equip delegates in both understanding the rules and implementing new processes which will champion the customer and ultimately result in better marketing practices.

CPD category: Championing the customer
