Getting your website to the top of the search rankings is a perennial problem for many marketers and with Google continually updating their algorithms, the impact on businesses can be significant.
In this session we’ll be investigating the need for SEO in an increasingly more complex digital world and discussing the most recent and important changes that Google, in particular, has made to on-page and off-page factors such as the use of snippets, https, mobile and the relevancy of meta-data to name but a few.
We’ll examine the changing online consumer search behaviour and the likely impact it might have on your SEO strategy and we’ll explore the role of social media and the use of video in improving rankings.
Although we will base much of the session on established search theory we’ll also put forward a number of practical hints and tips that could be easily introduced and discuss the most effective methods for managing your search campaign, including the use of planning and management templates, third party SEO service providers, content marketing and creativity.
We’ll close the session with suggestions on how search might change over the next few years how you might take advantage of such change. Examples of successful SEO campaigns will be included throughout.
The session is designed to provide practical advice and suggestions that can help those involved in digital marketing management activities.
