In today’s competitive marketplace, it is not enough to merely be proficient. Your reputation and bankability are linked directly to your personal brand. Building your brand successfully does not happen by accident, it requires deliberate, strategically executed actions.
This workshop will help you uncover, optimise and grow your personal brand, equipping you with the tools you need to stand out. This is the second of a series of events being held at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton by the newly formed CIM/UoB Marketing Club.
The aim of the club is to give practicing marketers an opportunity to take some time-out, challenge thinking, learn new skills and share experiences with the next generation of marketing talent.
Speaker: Melissa Chevin. Melissa is a disruptive multi-channel marketer, dedicated to building and defending strong global brands. She has a proven track record in delivering first-to-market initiatives across a range of well-loved brands. Her marketing roles have included: Cadbury – Assistant Brand Manager; Crayola – Brand Manager/Trade and Promotions Manager; Kodak – Senior Brand Manager; Senator GmbH – Marketing Manager/Marketing Director (UK and Ireland); A.T. Cross – Global Marketing Manager.
In 2015, Melissa was elected as a Board Director of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (voluntary role) with key responsibility for marketing. In 2016, Melissa founded Globefish Consulting Limited, helping individuals, SMEs and start-ups achieve greater success through affordable marketing.
CPD category: Personal/soft skills
CPD duration: 1.5 hours
Attendance is free for UOB students and CIM Affiliate studying members.
Registration and networking is from 18:00; the event starts at 18:30 and finishes at 21:00. If you are non-EU resident, please contact the Network Support team to make your booking.
