    6:00 PM - Cookham

Marketing teams in pharma and medtech stretch far beyond the marketing department and direct much more than brand communications. From product profiles to regulatory claims, from KOL relationships and payer influence, from sales team support to digital channels, the role of the cross-functional marketing team in pharma and medtech is complex and changing.

In this relevant and original presentation, Professor Brian D Smith will review his work into the DNA of such teams. He will reveal that they really do have something that is directly analogous to DNA, that it explains success and failure in such teams and that it can be engineered to adapt to changing market conditions.

This masterclass will be relevant to anyone who works in or with the commercial functions of a pharma or medtech company.

Professor Brian D Smith is the world's leading authority on the evolution of the life sciences industry, a 40-year veteran of the sector, he has published over 300 books, papers and articles on the topic, including 'The Future of Pharma', 'Darwin's Medicine' and 'Brand Therapy'.
