Join us at the University of Winchester and find out the latest trends in digital tech. Come and find out the difference between augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) and learn from real-life applications of this technology. We will be joined by experts from The ICE Agency, who’ll be sharing some top tips on how to engage your customers with AR. The evening will close with a panel discussion.

Rob Farthing:
Since graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a First-Class Honours in Computer Games Technology, Rob has since refined his skills in developing augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications. He also has roots in mixed reality application development from creating augmented training applications using the first generation of Meta One and Oculus Rift headsets. With background in indie games development and graphic design, he also has experience in programming and 3D visualisation as well as animation.

David Doyle:
After graduating with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, David enjoyed a brief but fruitful career as a freelance illustrator, winning regular commissions for the Financial Times and notably, a Royal Mail Stamp commemorating the 2012 Olympic Games. Alongside the illustration work, David worked as a graphic designer both in-house and agency side, and now directs a varied and thriving studio at The ICE Agency, drawing upon his wide range of creative experience, which spans across internal communications, advertising, publishing and art direction.
