6:00 PM - Luton
In this session, we look at the current role of ‘branding’ and the importance of developing a clear brand proposition that has a strong point of difference versus the competition. We will put this into practice by working in teams to draft a CIM brand proposition that makes it stand out from key competitors.
This is the latest in a series of events being held at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton by the recently formed CIM/UOB Marketing Club.
The aim of the club is to give practicing marketers an opportunity to take some time-out, challenge thinking, learn new skills and share experiences with the next generation of marketing talent. It’s also designed to give students interested in careers in marketing, an opportunity to network with people already working at the coalface.
As franchisee he served on the Boards of the McDonald’s (Spain) Marketing Co-operative and their European Franchisee Association. He reckons that in 10 countries over 40 years he has had front line management responsibility (including profit) for well over 50 brands.
