    6:00 PM - London

This month’s event in our ‘Soft Skills for Hard Results’ series looks at how you become a better interviewer, as well as a better interviewee. This is part of the ‘Soft Skills for Hard Results’ event series aimed to equip modern marketers with the interpersonal skills required to succeed in their jobs and advance their careers.

Whether you manage a team or not, chances are you’ll have to interview some candidates in your current company at some stage. How should you use the relatively brief time to get to know and assess a near stranger? How many people at your firm should be involved? How can you tell if a candidate will be a good fit? And finally, should you really ask questions like: “What’s your greatest weakness?”

As the employment market improves and candidates have more options, hiring the right person for the job has become increasingly difficult. Applicants also have more information about each company’s selection process than ever before. Your job is to assess candidates but also to convince the best ones to stay. In the first part of the session, you’ll learn how to make the interview process work for you — and for them.

In the second part of the session, we’ll look at how you can get more interviews, sell yourself as the best candidate for the job you want and how to negotiate your best salary yet.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect, share ideas and start building relationships that can enhance their performance and career during the post-event networking session.
