Crowdfunding is big business right now and can help businesses grow quickly, but how do you make it work?

Last year, York based marketing agency - The Rainbow Mash - joined forces with craft brewery Brew York, to help them start a beer revolution.

The ‘Brew York (R)evolution’ crowdfunding campaign raised £56k in 21 days to make York’s biggest craft beer venue a reality. That’s 41% more than the initial £40k target. The campaign was all about creating a community of beer lovers who said ‘no’ to bland, boring beer and a big ‘yes’ to weird and wonderful brews.

In this talk from Sarah Cowl, Marketing Director of The Rainbow Mash, you’ll find out what makes a successful crowdfunding campaign and why starting a revolution was the right thing for Brew York to do.
