This is the first workshop in a brand-new series of events being run by CIM GLR in collaboration with CIM’s content partners, LID, who create and curate content for both Catalyst magazine and the CIM content hub, Exchange.
LID are also publishers of best-selling marketing and business books and this event series features authors expert in their field who have published the latest ‘must read’ on their area of expertise.
This inaugural event is on one of the hottest topics in marketing and is based on Make it all about me: Leveraging omnichannel and AI for marketing success by Rasmus Houlind from martech company Agillic and Colin Shearer from Houston Analytics.
Rasmus is a thought leader within omnichannel and digital marketing. Through decades with major Scandinavian agencies, he has worked with some of the largest brands in the Nordics.
Colin Shearer has been a pioneer and thought leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics for over 25 years. His experience ranges from successful start-ups and the creation of market-leading tools and technology, to worldwide executive roles with the largest vendors.
The book suggests how to work with omnichannel marketing and artificial intelligence without getting stuck in a certain channel or silo. Drawing on insights from global marketing experts, the book centres around the omnichannel hexagon, a framework to help gauge your omnichannel progress and prioritise your marketing efforts to ensure that every step you take is a step closer to the perfect, tailored customer experience—without sacrificing profitability.
At the workshop Rasmus, Agillic’s Chief Strategy Officer, and Colin will explain the omnichannel hexagon and how it works illustrating key points with examples from brands such as North Face, Sephora, Nordstrom, Forevermark and Amazon. The session will conclude with an exercise for you to get your own maturity assessment based on the theoretical framework covered in the session and an online benchmark tool.
