    6:15 PM - Spalding

**THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED**

Far from being a practice we simply talk about in the history books, slavery is present at all levels in the food chain, with some estimates show the figures increasing by as much as 70 percent a year. But how can we as businesses in the food chain ensure that it's not part of our business? How can we identify issues and how does the shadow of slavery affect consumer buying decisions?

Our speaker, Shayne Tyler is the Group Compliance Director of FRESCA, and an acknowledged expert on the issue of modern slavery. Shayne will cover the key issues and hopefully start a discussion that will go some way to ending this hidden, dangerous and destructive aspect of our sector.
