    Everyone loves to win awards - they improve the brand's reputation and image, support your brand proposition and are great for staff morale - but often, you can miss out on an award by not approaching the entry process in the right way. This can lead to a lost opportunity and valuable time lost putting the entry together.

    The CIM Travel Group masterclass in marketing award entries can help you get over that. We have brought together some of our judges and previous winners to guide you through the process of what makes a winning award entry. The masterclass is free to attend and a fantastic opportunity to maximise the potential of your entry.

    Speakers include:

    Aneil Bedi, Director, M&C Saatchi. Aneil has been with M&C Saatchi for over 12 years and possesses a plethora of travel and tourism communications experience, working with clients including: Turkey Tourism, US Tourism, Visit Kent, Silversea Cruises and lastminute.com. In 2012 he was the project leader on the Visit England ‘Holidays at home are GREAT’ campaign. Aneil has been chair of the Marketing Panel for The Travel Marketing Awards since 2014.

    Gary Grieve, Managing Director, Capela Training. Gary is a founding director of Capela, with over 20 years’ experience in marketing and general management for the travel industry. He trains in sales, marketing and business skills, as well as CIM Marketing Diploma qualifications. Gary has been involved with The Travel Marketing Awards since they launched in 2009, and was the Chair of CIM Travel Group between 2009 and 2012.

    Aimee Luther, Managing Director, BMB. BMB were the agency behind Thomson’s Simon The Ogre campaign – shortlisted for four categories in the 2015 Awards, winning Best TV, Advertising Campaign of the Year and Integrated Campaign of the Year.

    Michael Nelson, Group Account Director, WDMP. WDMP were the agency working for Monarch on The Monarch Virtual Reality Mountain which was shortlisted in three categories of the 2015 Awards winning Best Direct Marketing and Best use of Multi-Channel.

    Radha Vyas, Co-Founder, The Flash Pack. Experts in small group travel and tailor-made holidays, The Flash Pack won the only Platinum Standard Award at the 2015 Travel Marketing Awards for the ‘First Ever Selfie with Jesus’ campaign.
