Chris Dunne

Chris has spent the last 20 years in marketing, communications and events, primarily across the media sector.

He started his career at PR agency Brazen in 2002, whilst there establishing and running its bespoke events division, Brazen LIVE. He next moved into marketing in commercial radio, overseeing multiple radio brands including Heart and Smooth at GCap, Guardian Media Group Radio and Global. He later moved into newsbrands to head up consumer marketing at Metro for DMG Media.

In 2017, Chris joined Thinkbox, where he and a crack team of telly addicts work together to help advertisers get the most out of today’s TV. Highlights include the 2022 launch of Happily Ever After, the latest in Thinkbox’s acclaimed series of TV ads. Chris is also marketing lead for TV Masters, Thinkbox’s award-winning online training course in TV advertising.

Alongside his role at Thinkbox, Chris is a board director at Outvertising, the advertising and marketing industry’s not-for-profit LGBTQIA+ advocacy group, and is a trained Mental Health First Aider and mental health awareness advocate.
