6:00 PM - London

The seventh event in our professional marketer series looks at reputation and responsibility.

Reputation is built on trust so in our first session Nick Barron, Managing Director of Edelman's Corporate Reputation team, will look at the role of trust from a business perspective and society at large by revealing key findings from the 2016 Edelman Trust Barometer. He will explain how integrity, engagement, products and services, purpose and operations all contribute to building trust and their effect on buying behaviour for consumers and businesses alike.

Our second session looks at responsibility from a personal perspective. Steve Revill will highlight the benefits of volunteering and its place in contributing to personal development and growth – both for the individual and the organisation you work for. Using The Prince’s Trust as a case study, Steve will share a number of practical, implementable insights to anyone interested in personal or organisational development.

As Managing Director of Edelman London’s Corporate Reputation team, Nick Barron leads a team of 80 strategic communications specialists, working with leading companies and high-profile organisations to build trust in their brands. He has advised clients ranging from Unilever and Microsoft to Manchester City FC and The New York Times.

Nick co-founded experiential business Homemade London and set up a hyperlocal website for his London neighbourhood, which he has been editing for eight years with no sign of an exit strategy. He is a member of Council for Goldsmiths, University of London and provides pro-bono support to International Crisis Group.

Steve Revill, Unlimited Perspective.
